Rogers played college baseball at the University of Kentucky, and was selected by the Twins in the 11th round of the 2012 MLB draft. He was a first-round pick, has baseball in his bloodlines (cousin of former Giant Cody Ross, who himself was a rare throw left/bat right, like Rickey Henderson and yours truly), but has stunk this season. Are we burning our ships on the shore to show we're not giving up on the near future or are we admitting we have to completely re-tool ??
